What “anonymous” means here
This inbox is anonymous in a specific, practical sense: we never ask who you are, and the address says nothing about you. It is a random string of letters and numbers, created after an automatic bot check.
- No name, password, phone number, or personal email is collected.
- The address is random, so it can’t be traced back to your real email.
- Only this browser holds the access token that can read the inbox.
- Messages are deleted when the inbox ends after 24 hours, or sooner if you delete them.
Blocking the trackers inside email
Many marketing emails contain tiny remote images that report back when, where, and on what device you opened them. We block all remote images by default. If you choose to load them, you’ll see a warning first that the sender will learn your IP address and that you opened the message. Read more in how email tracking pixels work.
The limits of anonymity
No website is completely anonymous. Your browser connects to our servers, which run on Cloudflare, so your IP address is processed to deliver the page and stop abuse. We don’t use advertising or third-party analytics. The details are in our privacy policy.
This is also a receive-only inbox. You can’t send anonymous email from it, and it is not built for whistleblowing or other situations where your safety depends on staying hidden. For those, use tools designed for that purpose.
Questions
Can I send anonymous emails?
No. The service only receives email. It can’t send, reply, or forward.
Do you log who uses which address?
We don’t know who you are, so there is nothing to connect an address to. We keep the address, its creation time, and its messages until the inbox is deleted, plus short-lived per-network counters to limit abuse.
